A central focus of my work is the divine feminine, explored through figure, place, color, and symbolism. Rather than a fixed subject, I understand the feminine as a mode of perception—receptive, intuitive, and embodied. Through this lens, I create paintings that bring forward different archetypes, experiences and emotional states, often allowing figures and stories to unfold.
I feel a strong desire to honor feminine intelligence and presence in my work. I am interested in the divine feminine's persistence through transformation across time and culture. Through my work, I aim to create a space where these energies can be made visible and shared in a way that helps others, women and men alike, connect with the depth, wisdom, and perspective the feminine has to offer.
This is an ongoing series as I paint here in Hawai’i and elsewhere……please stay tuned.
